Programs, Initiatives and Resources

 EYoung Industry Ambassadors (Goldfields LLEN)
Young Industry Ambassadors are trained to present their own career pathways to students in upper primary and secondary schools. The diverse pathways young employees have taken can enlighten school student’s knowledge about the various pathways to achieve career goals and see the value of remaining at school. YIAs are usually between the ages of 20 to 30 years so that school students can easily relate to them. Through the generosity of their employers, YIAs can visit schools or host students at their workplace, at no cost to schools. Visit the website

Industry Engagement Videos (NELLEN)

Social Enterprises (IELLEN)
A Showcase of Social Enterprises in Melbourne metro, that trade to intentionally tackle social problems, improve communities, provide access to employment and training or to help the environment.

Real Job Industry Interviews (RIJI) 
A program run by INLLEN that provides young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to take on the current job market. Local employers work with schools to deliver work readiness training to students during the program and volunteer as an interviewer at the Real Industry Job Interview.

Industry Speaker Bank (INLLEN)
The Industry Speaker Bank is a cohort of local volunteers from a range of backgrounds and industries who are available to share their knowledge with young people in their local area.
